In proper low-key fashion, Connor Oberst and co subtly tease the return of influential emo-folk band, Bright Eyes. Led simply by the hashtag #Brighteyes2020, initial news has traveled via artwork posted on previously cobwebbed social media accounts. For those unfamiliar, Bright Eyes are the rockers behind the stalwart indie record, I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning. Tracks such as “First Day of My Life” and “Bowl of Oranges” paved the way for many other angsty singer-songwriters of present day. Check out the teaser, and stay tuned for more to come.
