Danny L Harle’s debut album ‘Harlecore’ is a maximalist survey of rave music from trance to techno to breakbeat along with some irresistible vocals from the likes of Hannah Diamond and other PC music artists.
A record of often intense, sometimes perilously dark, self-reflection with a soundscape expanded beyond the intimacy of her first records.
The unpredictable debut from the Norwegian synth pop duo Smerz is also a very worthwhile listen.
